Responsibilities
  • Dust, mop, and clean various surfaces and equipment, including medicine cabinets, furniture, metals, mirrors, and medical equipment.
  • Vacuum blinds, screens, and vents to ensure a clean and dust-free environment.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties such as replenishing supplies and restocking inventory.
  • Sterilize rooms after isolation to prevent the spread of infection.
  • Integrate the hospital's mission and 'Guiding Principles' into daily practice, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and patient care.
Requirements
  • Previous housekeeping or environmental services experience preferred.
  • OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledgeable of appropriate healthcare environmental services procedures.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.
