Scheduler - Northwest Spine & Pain Surgery Center

At SCA Health, we are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional service. As a Scheduler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ambulatory surgery center.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient scheduling for outpatient surgeries and procedures
  • Verify patient demographics and insurance information
  • Communicate with payers to obtain necessary authorization
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure availability of necessary equipment and resources
  • Prepare and distribute daily surgery schedules
  • Capture accurate clinical, demographic, and insurance information for patients
  • Communicate with medical staff and office personnel to ensure seamless patient care
  • Monitor and maintain block time and track cancellations
  • Perform other clerical duties as directed by the Business Office Manager
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum one year of scheduling experience in an ambulatory surgery facility, acute-care hospital, or doctor's office
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
