We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at TriCities Hospital. As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform MRI examinations with precision and accuracy, utilizing MRI equipment and your knowledge of anatomy/patient positioning for optimal imaging.
- Explain the procedure to patients and address any questions or concerns they may have.
- Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and ensure proper film identification.
- Evaluate the quality of MRI procedures and determine if additional imaging is required, prior to communicating procedure information to the radiologist.
- Participate in on-call duties as assigned to meet department needs.
- Two years' experience in the field of Radiologic Technology to support on-the-job training or one year of experience as an MRI technologist.
- ARRT and Basic Life Support Certification.
- Two years' experience as an MRI technologist in a hospital environment preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or accredited MRI program preferred.
