As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing skilled mechanical work, including the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of gasoline, diesel-powered vehicles and heavy construction vehicles and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles and equipment, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues, including engine and transmission problems.
  • Operate heavy equipment, such as cranes and forklifts, to move and position vehicles and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of repair work completed, parts replaced, and routine maintenance performed.
  • Ensure work area is clean, safe, and orderly, and comply with all safety regulations and protocols.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; four years of work-related experience or 60 hours of college in a job-related field of study or a combination of the two.
  • Valid Class A Texas Driver's License with hazardous material endorsement and good driving record.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds, assisted.
  • Knowledge of welding required.
  • Ability to work in varied conditions, including heat, cold, rain, ice, and snow.

Working Conditions

This position requires prolonged standing, bending, twisting, climbing, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be required to maintain a good driving record and comply with all safety regulations and protocols.
