ATC Marietta is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in various healthcare settings. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and contribute to their recovery and well-being.
Responsibilities- Provide skilled nursing services to patients in facilities, including hospitals, long-term care, and psychiatric hospitals.
- Work under the direction of a professional registered nurse or medical doctor to administer medications, perform nursing procedures, and provide patient care.
- Assist in rehabilitation programming and activities for residents, such as social skills development, daily living skills, reality orientation, and recreational activities.
- Record treatment given to patients, take and record patients' health, and transport/accompany patients to procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality related to patient, family, client facility, and staff in accordance with HIPAA.
- Completion of an accredited licensed practical nursing program.
- Current and unencumbered license in the state of practice.
- At least one year of experience in the last three years.
- Background screening as required by state or client contract.
- Drug screening as required by the contract.
- Some states or clients may require an employment physical.
Work sites vary, and you may be exposed to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials. You should be able to read medical equipment and documents, push carts and medical equipment, and assist with moving patients.
