Advanced Practice Nurse / Physician Assistant (Float)

This extensive support allows our APN or PA to manage a reduced patient load, enabling them to dedicate more time to each individual.


The Advanced Practice Nurse/Physician Assistant is responsible for promoting health and wellness through the assessment and management of acute and chronic conditions.

This role includes prescribing medications, conducting patient examinations, diagnosing illnesses, and providing appropriate treatment. The APN or PA also collaborates with executives to formulate functional strategies on significant matters.

Utilizing independent judgment and decision-making skills, the APN or PA addresses complex issues related to job responsibilities while working with minimal supervision. This role requires critical analysis of various factors to determine the most effective course of action.

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree

  • Master's degree in Nursing - NP or PA
  • Active, unrestricted NP or PA license in Texas
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in adult medicine as an NP or PA
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and patients
  • Commitment to the concept of integrated team-based care
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to a value-based care environment
  • Outstanding patient/customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) is advantageous
  • Familiarity with HEDIS measures and quality indicators
  • Experience managing a Medicare Advantage patient panel with an understanding of best practices in a coordinated care environment

Compensation:


The compensation range provided reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting.

Compensation may vary based on geographic location and individual qualifications, including skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.

$102,200 - $140,700 per year

This position is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on individual and company performance.
