Seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Hepatologist

The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota is seeking a highly qualified board-certified/board-eligible pediatric hepatologist to join our team as an Assistant or Associate Professor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Contribute to research projects and other academic/scholarly activities
  • Engage in service activities on behalf of the department, medical school, and profession
Our Program:

We have a thriving academic pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition practice that cares for patients with diverse and fascinating problems.

Our program covers the full spectrum of care in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition, with a focus on liver transplantation, pancreatology, and gastrointestinal disease.

Research Opportunities:

We have ongoing clinical research projects in gastrointestinal disease, cystic fibrosis, chronic pancreatitis, and inflammatory bowel disease, as well as autoimmune hepatitis and sarcopenia.

Our division participates in the Rare Disease program at the University of Minnesota, recognized as a Center of Excellence by the National Organization of Rare Diseases.
