Surgical Oncology Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to join our team as a Surgical Nocturnist. This role will involve providing high-quality patient care to inpatient surgical oncology patients, collaborating with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical and surgical care to inpatient surgical oncology patients
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
- Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Current New York State (NYS) RN and NP licenses/registrations
- NYS prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)
- 2-3+ years of related clinical experience within oncology, preferably within surgery
- Related National NP certification
- BLS, ACLS required
- OR
- Graduate from an accredited PA program
- NCCPA certification
- Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure
- A minimum of 2-3 years clinical oncology experience, preferably within surgery
- BLS, ACLS required
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Competitive salary range: $144k-182K
- Full-time Nights, 13.5 hour shifts 5pm to 6:30am with weekend and vacation rotation
