Garden Center Merchandiser

National Garden Service is a leading provider of exclusive outdoor floral services for The Kroger Company nationwide. As a Garden Center Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in creating visually appealing displays and ensuring the highest quality plant care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain product displays that drive sales and customer engagement
• Water and care for a variety of outdoor plants, ensuring their health and longevity
• Develop and implement effective watering plans with the floral department manager
• Ensure proper signage and display materials are in place
• Maintain a safe and clean display area, adhering to company standards
• Remove and record expired plant material, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
• Interact with store personnel and customers, providing exceptional customer service
• Develop positive working relationships with store management and associates
• Complete reports for each store serviced, documenting daily activities and progress

Requirements:

• Must have a smartphone and a valid driver's license
• Reliable means of transportation and ability to work outdoors in all elements
• Lift, push, and carry up to 30 pounds repetitively
• Understand and execute planograms, utilizing visual merchandising skills
• Use workplace mobile apps, staying connected and informed
• Preferred experience in merchandising, retail, and/or customer service
• Experience working at a garden center is a plus
