Who You Are

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Porsche technician with a strong background in air-cooled Porsches. As a master technician, you'll have a proven track record of diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle systems, with a focus on electrical diagnostics and vehicle networks.

You'll be responsible for performing thorough inspections, reporting required repairs and preventive maintenance, and completing preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with maintenance policies and directives.

As a key member of our team, you'll be expected to communicate effectively with colleagues and management, providing technical guidance and support as needed.

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing thorough inspections of customer vehicles, reporting all required repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Completing preventative maintenance tasks, including inspecting, servicing, and correcting discrepancies in accordance with maintenance policies and directives
  • Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving customer mechanical and electrical concerns per manufacturer's specification and guidelines
  • Using various types of electrical and mechanical diagnostic equipment to test, evaluate, and validate vehicle systems
  • Installing and setting up engine and suspension performance upgrades
  • Performing full tear-downs, repairs, assemblies, and upgrades to vehicles
  • Designing, building, and/or creating necessary vehicle components, including hoses, brackets, and wiring harnesses
  • Successfully installing custom, add-on, and/or specialized equipment for each assigned vehicle
  • Performing full component and subassembly tasks, such as suspension, brakes, powertrain installation and removal, mounting and balancing tires, and interior installation/removal
  • Recommending and sourcing stock parts and customized parts for projects
  • Completing work order documents, noting time, parts, and supplies used
  • Reporting work status and special problems to service manager in a timely fashion
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with managers, coworkers, and other departments
  • Maintaining a clean, safe working environment
