Job Summary:

The Enterprise Network Engineer is responsible for the deployment, maintenance, and support of the company's network infrastructure. This includes designing, implementing, and managing network systems, as well as ensuring the security and integrity of the network.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan, design, and implement network infrastructure projects

Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and security policies

Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including hardware and software problems

Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls

Collaborate with technical teams to ensure network compatibility and interoperability with other systems

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

7+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise networks

Strong knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and HTTP

Experience with network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

CCNA, CCNP, or CWNA certification

Experience with network management tools, including Cisco Prime and SolarWinds

Experience with cloud-based network services, including AWS and Azure

Strong knowledge of network virtualization technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V
