Key Responsibilities- Teaching and Learning
- Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth in infants and toddlers.
- Provide a nurturing and engaging environment that fosters a love of learning and exploration.
- Child Assessment and Progress Monitoring
- Conduct regular assessments to evaluate children's progress and identify areas of strength and need.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support children's learning and development.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to share information about children's progress and involve them in their child's education.
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement curriculum and activities that meet the needs of all children.
- Program Development and Implementation
- Contribute to the development and implementation of program policies and procedures that promote high-quality education and care.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
- Active Child Development Associate Credential with an Infant and Toddler endorsement or EEC Infant/Toddler Lead Teacher certification required.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations, including children, families, and colleagues.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
