Pace University College of Health Professions is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor to join our team of faculty members in the Department of Physician Assistant Studies Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing academic instruction, counseling, and mentoring to students in the didactic and clinical phases of the program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide academic instruction, counseling, and mentoring to students in the didactic and clinical phases of the program
  • Actively assist in the maintenance of ARC-PA accreditation and NYS program requirements
  • Be actively involved in developing and carrying out the mission and vision of the department, college, and university
  • Assist in the program improvement including curricular implementation and the admissions process
  • Provide ongoing assessment of course content, student evaluation measures, and program outcomes
  • Engage in scholarly activity and service to the program, college, university, and community
  • Participate in national, state, and/or leadership activities relevant to physician assistant education and practice
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited PA program
  • Master's Degree
  • Current NCCPA certification
  • NYS PA Licensure or eligible
  • Minimum three years clinical experience as a practicing physician assistant
