Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in equipment.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on machinery, ensuring compliance with operational manuals and manufacturer specifications.
- Disassemble equipment to access and replace defective components.
- Inspect parts for wear and determine necessary adjustments or replacements.
- Utilize proper tools and equipment to adjust and repair functional parts.
- Conduct performance tests on machinery post-repair.
- Maintain cleanliness and lubrication of equipment to promote longevity.
- Handle electrical system repairs, including control systems.
- Execute preventative and emergency maintenance as required.
- Train and oversee maintenance assistants as needed.
- Document maintenance activities and report any irregularities to management.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly.
- Follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures diligently.

Physical Requirements:
The role involves standing, walking, and using hands for extended periods. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions. Vision capabilities must include close proximity, distance, and depth perception.
Work Environment:
This position is set in a dynamic environment with exposure to mechanical parts, outdoor conditions, and potential hazards. Noise levels may be high, and employees will work around heavy machinery.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in equipment maintenance.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with PLC control systems is advantageous.
- Basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
- Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
