About the Job:
Institute for Comm Living is seeking a skilled Community Living Assistant Director to join our team. This role offers an estimated salary of $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. About the Role:
This is an entry-level direct care position that requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus one year of related human services experience. Specialized training or education in human services may be substituted for experience. You will work under the supervision of a certified supervisor and assist consumers with daily living skills, socialization, and conflict resolution. You will also participate in fire drills, perform headcounts, and ensure the safety and well-being of consumers, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist consumers with daily living skills, such as personal hygiene, grooming, nutrition, and meal preparation
- Encourage and support consumers in participating in physical, social, recreational, educational, and other rehabilitation goals
- Monitor and report any changes in consumer behavior or responses to treatment and rehabilitation programs
- Participate in fire drills, perform headcounts, and ensure the safety and well-being of consumers, staff, and visitors
- Document all significant behavioral responses in prescribed format and complete incident reports as needed
- Work effectively with consumers, families, and staff in a caring and respectful manner

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of related human services experience
- Ability to read and write at least at the secondary school level and follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, consumers, families, and the public
- Ability to secure and maintain certification for Standard First Aid and CPR
