Do you possess the qualities needed to excel as a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) at Chardon?QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Completion of an accredited Nurse Aide Training Program or eligibility to enroll in such a program, with the requirement to graduate and pass a state examination within 120 days of employment.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESAs an STNA, your responsibilities will include:
Participating in and receiving resident reports at the beginning and end of shifts.
Delivering personal and nursing care in accordance with the resident care plan.
Facilitating and leading activities.
Monitoring and responding to resident requests and needs with dignity and respect.
Maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for residents.
Assisting in preparing residents for various activities both inside and outside the facility.
Ensuring that all resident care is delivered with dignity and respect.
Performing basic nursing care procedures as required.
Creating a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents, ensuring their needs are met.
Meeting residents' food service needs in a timely and compassionate manner.
Maintaining documentation records for daily living activities, restorative programs, and resident-specific forms.
Adhering to established departmental, center, and corporate policies and procedures, objectives, quality improvement programs, and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
Participating in scheduled training, educational classes, and orientation programs to maintain certification and enhance the quality of care.
Performing other related tasks as assigned or requested.
