We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a travel position in Georgia. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional to work with a dynamic healthcare organization and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.
Job SummaryThis role involves providing speech therapy services to patients, assessing their needs, and developing personalized treatment plans. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients' communication skills, swallowing abilities, and cognitive functions. They will also provide counseling and education to patients and their families on effective communication strategies and support techniques.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients' communication skills and develop treatment plans to improve their ability to communicate effectively
- Assess patients' swallowing abilities and provide treatment to address any difficulties
- Counsel patients and their families on effective communication strategies and support techniques
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- A current license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in Georgia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
