Position Overview:

A prominent educational institution is in search of a committed and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) for the academic year. The OT will play a crucial role in assessing and addressing the occupational therapy requirements of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough assessments and identify the occupational therapy needs of students.
  • Design and execute tailored treatment plans that cater to the individual needs of each student.
  • Deliver direct therapeutic services to students, either individually or in group formats.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and other professionals to enhance student development.
  • Maintain comprehensive and precise documentation of student conditions, treatment strategies, therapy sessions, and progress.
  • Engage in IEP meetings and offer insights for student support.
  • Oversee and mentor occupational therapy assistants as required.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in an occupational therapy role.
  • Experience in a school environment as an OT is highly desirable.

Educational Requirements:

  • A master's degree in Occupational Therapy is mandatory.
  • Full accreditation (OTR) is preferred.
  • Candidates must be in at least the Clinical Fellowship Year.
