Job Summary:

Fenix Parts Inc is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for recording and inventorying usable parts from vehicles while submitting applicable descriptive notes.

You will receive incoming vehicles to be placed in our salvage yard and be required to de-garbage new arrivals prior to inventory. You will also be responsible for evaluating current parts stock, analyzing parts for damage, and recording current condition.

Reviews the purchase information for each vehicle, and ensures that each vehicle for inventory is properly inventoried. You will assist with various warehouse tasks including inventory audits and communicate with different departments including our dismantling, parts pulling and buying teams.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Must have knowledge of vehicles, automotive parts and components
  • Must have basic computer skills including the use of tablets, MS Office with the ability to learn new software programs
  • Body shop experience a plus
  • Must be able to work outdoors and have the ability to stand/walk for the majority of your shift
  • Must be a strong communicator, self-motivated, able to collaborate with a team while also acting independently and possessing critical thinking skills
  • Must have an eye for detail and the ability to treat our vehicles and parts as an asset with a focus on damage prevention
