- Interface with AI platforms, technology vendors, and open-source software communities to ensure compatibility and performance.

- Evaluate the performance and reliability of new hardware platforms and components using automated tests.
- Expand and maintain automation for testing and reliability work.
- Develop performance test plans and experiments with customer teams to optimize hardware utilization.
- Work with customers to debug and address reliability or performance issues.
- Identify and suggest ideal OS and BIOS settings for our systems.
- Explore and propose new hardware/software technologies to improve performance or reduce costs.
- At least 5-8 years of systems engineering experience using Linux as an operating system.
- Understanding of how to configure servers to expose AI accelerators.
- Experience with AI frameworks and platforms, including benchmarking services or accelerators.
- Proficiency in Python or Bash for automating tasks.
- Familiarity with revision control systems like GIT and containerization using Docker.
- Understanding of how to compile and build source code, especially the Linux kernel.
- Familiarity with AI accelerators from multiple vendors and their architectures.
- Experience with extending a monitoring framework like Prometheus.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud computing concepts.
- Proficiency in profiling and performance tools like perf, vtune, or performance co-pilot.
- Experience analyzing logs and working with data repositories.
- Experience deploying and configuring systems at scale using standard technology.
