Position Overview
We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Service Specialist to join our expanding team and contribute to our customer service objectives in the field.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe working environment in accordance with all safety regulations.
- Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, free from safety hazards.
- Utilize various techniques and tools to inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on a range of heavy equipment.
- Keep accurate records of equipment and repairs for billing and service logs.
- Overhaul and test machinery to guarantee operational efficiency.
- Conduct performance tests on mechanical products post-repair to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Report any additional work needed or visible damage to the shop manager.
- Perform cleaning, lubrication, and preventative maintenance on equipment as necessary.
- Stay updated on changes in equipment models to enhance technical knowledge through training.

Qualifications
- Valid CDL B License.
- High School diploma and completion of an accredited technical program in diesel engines/hydraulics/heavy equipment repair is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician/Mechanic is required.
- Must possess personal tools.
- Experience with diagnostic testing and tuning equipment is essential.
- Familiarity with computer systems and maintenance software is preferred.
- Strong organizational and customer service skills are necessary to ensure high-quality service.

Working Conditions
- Physical demands include lifting, carrying, reaching, and climbing.
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Must be able to operate a forklift safely.
- Requires passing a pre-employment physical and background check.
