Job Description
The Engineering Director - Rubber Manufacturing will be responsible for driving innovation and efficiency in rubber processing operations. This role is instrumental in ensuring the enhancement of rubber compound formulations, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and optimizing processes for quality and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industry regulations, safety standards, and quality control processes, as well as proficiency in simulation/modeling software, data analytics, statistical software, and ERP systems.
A salary of $130,000 - $160,000 per year, based on experience, is offered, along with a highly competitive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead initiatives to improve rubber compound formulations.
- Investigate/resolve issues related to rubber compounds within manufacturing process.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for rubber processing operations.
- Collaborate with R&D, production and quality control teams.
- Identify/implement cutting-edge technologies and innovative approaches.
