Location: Monongahela National Forest - Greenbrier Ranger District Office

The Greenbrier Ranger District Office is situated in a picturesque area known for its rich wildlife and scenic hiking trails. The work environment is engaging, featuring a variety of tasks that are essential to the smooth operation of the facility.

Work Schedule: Part-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
  • Utilize various cleaning supplies safely, ensuring no damage occurs to floors and fixtures.
  • Conduct all cleaning tasks in accordance with safety protocols, promptly reporting any maintenance issues or hazards.
  • Perform regular sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness.
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring supplies such as soap and paper products are replenished as necessary.
  • Manage waste disposal in compliance with environmental and safety standards, ensuring waste bins are properly maintained.
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces, ensuring all areas are free from stains and dirt.
  • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies to maintain adequate inventory levels, reporting shortages or equipment issues as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in janitorial services.
  • Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and supplies.
  • Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheets.
  • Understanding of OSHA regulations.
  • Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred.
  • Ability to handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Capability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Physical stamina to perform various cleaning tasks.
