We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Operations Manager to join our team at Alice Peck Day Health Systems. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical units, promoting high-quality patient care, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient flow, reduce wait times, and enhance overall efficiency within our clinical units.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and seamless care transitions.
- Evaluate staffing levels, patient volumes, and allocate resources accordingly to meet the changing needs of our patients.
- Function as the primary point of contact for determining bed availability and arranging patient placements.
- Facilitate patient flow by directing patient care, evaluating and coordinating bed assignments, transporting patients, initiating admission assessments, problem identification, care planning, and documentation.
- Communicate critical information to assigned nurses and escalate concerns to department leaders or administrators as needed.
- Act as a resource for staff and other professionals in administrative and clinical situations, such as medical examiner cases, disaster plan implementation, and inter-facility transfers.
- Assist with service recovery and participate in quality improvement activities to promote excellence in patient care.
- Maintain compliance with organizational policies, standards, and the scope of Nursing Practice as defined by the New Hampshire Nurse Practice Act.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a charge nurse/management or nursing supervision role, preferably in Critical Care.
- Certifications: CLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC, NRP, and NH RN license.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
