Job Summary:
This role provides direct clinical patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. Additionally, the role will supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated and support the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and effective resource management related to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis
- Supervise staff to ensure appropriate care is delegated
- Support the CNO in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care
- Ensure competency of clinical staff
- Manage resources effectively related to patient care
Requirements:
- Graduated from a state-approved school of nursing or an accredited school
- Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as a Registered Nurse
- CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Academic degree in nursing (bachelor's or master's degree)
