Cashier/Hostess

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier/Hostess to join our team at Royal Lahaina Resort. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

• Provide attentive and friendly service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with precision.
• Assist the Host/Hostess in greeting and seating guests, ensuring a timely and welcoming experience.
• Prepare cashier reports and reconcile discrepancies, maintaining accurate records.
• Pay out servers and service attendants tips, ensuring fair and timely compensation.
• Perform opening and closing duties, adhering to established side-work checklists.
• Communicate effectively with guests, servers, and colleagues, providing clear and concise information.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of menus, specials, and hotel policies, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
• Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries, providing exceptional customer service.
• Assist servers and host/hostess in serving guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
