Patient Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Service Representative to join our team at Health Images in Westminster, CO. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide friendly and warm greetings to patients and providers, ensuring a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Check scheduled patients in/out and ensure proper documentation is received from patients.
- Collect co-pays, co-insurance, and deductible if necessary, while maintaining accurate records.
- Listen and resolve patient, provider, and customer complaints, communicating with the PSR Lead and/or Area Manager as needed.
- Ensure accurate data entry for patient registration and maintain up-to-date records.
- Assist with medical records as needed and ensure all queues are processed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manage eRIS Center workflow, including daily schedule, billing complete, priors grid, delinquent exams, waitlist, report delivery queues, and collection of TOS.
- Stay abreast of known carrier-related issues and identify carrier-specific concerns.
- Monitor schedule and ensure all data, attachments, history, etc. have been completed before exams are finished.
- Facilitate no-show appointments, calling patients, cancelling, and rescheduling as needed.
- Reschedule and cancel appointments as directed, receiving incoming and outgoing calls to patients.
- Monitor waiting room to avoid extended wait times and assist patients as needed.
- Request orders and process new/same-day requests.
- Request patients complete a satisfaction survey after their exam.
- One plus year of experience providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare environment.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver, and a team player.
- Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to continuously exceed company and customer expectations.
- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor.
