We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for creating menu items and food preparation consistent with expectations of restaurant quality meals.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Oversee the opening and closing of the kitchen, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized.
- Develop and implement menu items that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our patients and staff.
- Collaborate with our culinary team to ensure that all meals are prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to ensure that we are operating within budget.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Proven track record of success in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of culinary professionals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field preferred.
- Competitive salary range: $17.85 - $23.80 per hour.
