Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist/CT Technician to join our team at NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Perform routine diagnostic procedures according to established policies and procedures
  • Identify and address any issues or concerns related to patient care or imaging quality
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to maintain the highest level of patient care
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
  • 2-5+ years of experience in CT scanning or related field
  • Competency in all basic radiological exams
  • New York State License required
  • ARRT certification in CT, or eligible to sit for the CT registry
  • Must complete CT Certification within 1 year of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Radiography - R.T. (R)(ARRT), Computed Tomography-RT(CT)(ARRT), Radiologic Tech Lic IV-Cert-NYS, Radiologic Tech Lic - NYS
