About the Role

The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our team at the Cardiovascular Institute. As a member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for performing complex cardiac surgeries, including CABG, aortic and mitral valve replacement, thoracoscopy, lobectomy, and TAVR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow an established cardiothoracic program
  • Collaborate with a comprehensive panel of physicians to provide exceptional patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiothoracic surgery

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree and completed an ACGME-accredited thoracic surgery residency
  • 3 years' experience preferred
  • Board Certified or eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
  • Current PA MD licensure in good standing; current unrestricted DEA certificate
