Job Title: Speech Therapist

At NavitsPartners, we are seeking a highly skilled Speech Therapist to join our team. As a Speech Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to individuals with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders using standardized testing methods and observational tools.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient goals, utilizing evidence-based practices and a variety of therapy techniques.
  • Provide direct therapy for speech, language, fluency, voice, articulation, and swallowing disorders, monitoring and documenting patient progress.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on techniques to support communication and swallowing at home, and provide training in the use of assistive technology or communication devices as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and educators.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active and unrestricted Speech-Language Pathology license in the state.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed Speech Therapist, with experience working in a similar setting preferred.
