Job Title: Critical Care Nurse

Core Medical Group is seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse to join their team. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Critical Care Nurse to work in our ICU. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a Critical Care Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patients, developing care plans, and implementing treatments to ensure the best possible outcomes. Responsibilities
  • Assess patients and develop individualized care plans
  • Implement treatments and interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Monitor patients' conditions and adjust care plans as needed
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve patient-centered care
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures
  • Meet productivity and quality standards
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of New Mexico
  • Experience in critical care nursing
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Other certifications as required by the hospital
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods and walk between units
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
  • Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve patient-centered care
  • Ability to participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills
