About the Role:

The primary function of this position is to schedule and sequence routes in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner using computerized programs.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and sequence routes to meet customer needs and optimize delivery routes
  • Utilize computerized programs to build cost-effective routes and balance loads per trailer
  • Work closely with Sales and Warehouse Departments to determine delivery practicality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless logistics operations
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of transportation regulations and industry best practices

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of router experience required
  • Strong computer skills, including data entry, report generation, and spreadsheet design
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
