Job Summary

At Construction Masters Services and Summit Flagging, we are seeking a highly skilled Construction Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing construction stakeout tasks and related surveying needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Acquire project CAD files from design engineers and maintain accurate records.
  • Service and maintain all assigned survey equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and foremen to provide survey support and meet construction schedules.
  • Utilize CAD, data collectors, and robotic total stations to perform construction surveying duties.
  • Verify shop drawings prior to releasing for fabrication, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the success of the team.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in construction stakeout, utilizing CAD, data collectors, and robotic total stations.
  • Experience working on civil construction projects, with a strong understanding of project plans and specifications.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and attendance skills, with a positive attitude and team player mentality.
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina to withstand full work weeks in various weather conditions.
