Job Summary:

The Ultrasound Technologist is a key member of our Radiology team, responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound exams and providing exceptional patient care. We are seeking a skilled and experienced technologist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound exams in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring comfort, dignity, and respect for all patients.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest ultrasound technologies and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Medical Sonography.
  • One or more years of experience in general ultrasound, with echo experience preferred.
  • Registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or registry eligible in ultrasound.
  • BCLS required.
