About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our surgical team as a Nurse Coordinator. This role is responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in the operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans for patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
  • Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room and monitor patient status during procedures
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families throughout the perioperative process

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in nursing from an accredited institution
  • Licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Tennessee
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in perioperative nursing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
