PROMPT CARE COMPANIES INC is seeking a highly skilled Intake Specialist to join our team. As an Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for managing patient referrals and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Enter new patient information into the order processing system.
- Generate and track forms until all pertinent documentation is received.
- Update patient and clinical information in the order processing system.
You will also be responsible for managing patients on the master log, verifying eligibility and benefits through insurance companies, and communicating with patients regarding eligibility requirements and policy benefits.
Requirements- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience working with insurance companies and healthcare professionals is preferred.
- Experience with specialty pharmacy patient admissions and customer service in a similar practice setting is strongly preferred.
