Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer I to join our team at The Logan Hotel. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining hotel equipment in an efficient, safe, and accident-free manner. This includes performing preventive maintenance, responding to guest requests, and handling emergencies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of hotel equipment and facilities to identify potential issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing air filters and checking circuit breakers.
  • Respond to guest requests for assistance, such as fixing leaky faucets or unclogging drains.
  • Handle emergency situations, such as responding to fire alarms or notifying authorities of potential hazards.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues and ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

A minimum of 6 months of successful experience in an equal or similar position.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
