Position Summary:
Under close supervision, the role involves performing routine tasks to support the assembly of chemical dilution and dispensing equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Interpret and understand the Bill of Materials (BoM) to collect necessary parts, tools, and equipment.
- Utilize hand and air tools to construct assemblies and sub-assemblies of moderate complexity while demonstrating manual dexterity.
- Complete assigned product assemblies adhering to quality specifications.
- Conduct quality inspections and tests on all products to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
- Follow established guidance from visual aids such as work instructions.
- Adhere to standard safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
- Report any issues, malfunctions, or defective components to Production Leadership.
- Meet and sustain established production rates.
Operational Logistics:
Assist with basic planning, inventory control, and packing tasks.
Key Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to foster and manage collaborative relationships.
- Commitment to high ethical standards, transparency, and trust.
- Capability to work effectively as part of a team and adapt to various work centers.
- Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and following written procedures; understanding and executing verbal instructions.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
- Previous manufacturing experience is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and move throughout the entire shift with scheduled breaks.
- Capability to lift up to 25 lbs. to waist and/or shoulder height, with or without assistance.
- Repetitive lifting above shoulder height - maximum of 3 lbs.
- Ability to bend and reach using arms and legs as necessary to retrieve parts and assemble products.
- Manual dexterity and coordination using both hands.
Core Schedule:
6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
Compensation:
$18.00/hr. Salary is determined based on various job-related, non-discriminatory factors, including responsibilities, work experience, education, location, and required skills.
