Job Title: LPN/Licensed Practical NurseJob Summary

We are seeking a skilled LPN/Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Sepiolite Healthcare staffing. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct patient care in a compassionate and empathetic manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Direct Patient Care: Administer medications and injections as prescribed by healthcare providers, assist with patient assessments, and ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient medical records.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with registered nurses and physicians to develop and implement patient care plans, monitor and report changes in patients' conditions, and participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
  • Education and Support: Educate patients and their families about healthcare management and preventive measures, provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families, and assist in the orientation and training of new nursing staff.
  • Health Screenings and Wellness: Conduct health screenings and promote wellness initiatives, stay updated with industry developments and best practices in nursing, and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Completion of an accredited practical nursing program and a valid LPN license.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of nursing principles and practices, ability to prioritize and manage multiple patient care tasks effectively, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficiency in medical record keeping and documentation.
  • Experience: Experience in providing direct patient care in various healthcare settings, ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team, and commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
