As a leader in our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining patient care and quality service standards, collaborating with physicians and department chiefs to develop patient services and day-to-day operations, and supervising the implementation of policies and procedures that support our goals and business objectives.
Essential Responsibilities:- Supervise daily operations and service delivery, ensuring staff provides high-quality care and is in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain patient care and quality service standards to meet member and internal client expectations.
- Act as patient advocate, resolving patient care issues and recommending processes to improve systems and patient care results.
- Assist in developing and monitoring budgets and resource allocations, and monitoring financial performance to identify opportunities for cost reduction and quality improvement.
- Supervise the implementation of policies and procedures that support our goals and business objectives, and collaborate with physicians and department chiefs to develop patient services and day-to-day operations.
- Minimum two years of experience in ambulatory care or other relevant clinical experience, or two years in a healthcare leadership capacity, or completion of Kaiser Permanente Southern California Postgraduate Fellowship in Health Care Administration.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with a Bachelors degree or four years of experience in a directly related field.
- Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire, and Basic Life Support required at hire.
- Knowledge of Nurse Practice Act, TJC, and other local, state, and federal regulations.
- Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
- Clinical specialization in area of practice, women services supervisory experience, healthcare supervisory and clinical experience, and women services experience.
