Glass Installer

We are seeking a motivated and dependable individual to fill the role of Glazier - Installer. This is a full-time position with a competitive starting wage and opportunities for advancement within the company.

This job involves working on a wide range of exciting projects, collaborating with talented architects, designers, and suppliers in the industry.

• Clean and prepare work areas or job sites as needed or instructed.
• Load, offload, and deliver materials to work sites.
• Assist in the installation of glass, storefront/curtain wall, and doors with closers and thresholds.
• Follow instructions from the site Lead and Foreman.
• Assist Lead Glaziers as needed.
• Assist with brake metal installation.
• Identify and report issues with work material on site.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

• Comfort using hand and power tools.
• 1-2 years of basic construction labor experience.
• Valid ID and driver's license free of major accidents and DUIs.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must be punctual, reliable, and have a positive attitude.
• Must possess basic work tools and work well with others (specialty tools provided by J&A).
• Be quickly trained for forklift license, and boom lift/scissor lift certification.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
• Must be willing to work in all weather conditions and travel to work sites out of the area as needed.
