Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories to assess patient conditions.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform treatment plans.
- Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and procedures in accordance with approved protocols.
- Develop and implement comprehensive patient treatment plans, taking into account evidence-based medicine and patient preferences.
- Counsel patients and families on medical processes, treatment options, and health promotion.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Texas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA).
