Donation Attendant

Job Summary:

The Donation Attendant is an entry-level position responsible for the intake of donated goods from donors at the Store Donation Door. This role plays a crucial part in the Goodwill's mission to provide employment and training opportunities to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities:

• Donation Intake: Greet donors, assist with donation drop-offs, and ensure a smooth and efficient intake process.
• Quality Control: Identify high-quality items suitable for sale through Goodwill E-Commerce and sort donations into designated areas and categories.
• Inventory Management: Select, hang, and price goods for display in the store sales area, ensuring a visually appealing and organized store environment.
• Disposal and Maintenance: Prepare rejected goods for disposal and maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace at all times.

Requirements:

• Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50lbs and perform job duties independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge and Skills: Ability to sort goods and materials, identify high-quality items, and use assigned tools and equipment.
