Job Title: Extrusion Shift Manager

We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Shift Manager to oversee the efficient day-to-day operation of our extrusion production rooms on night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and motivate team members to ensure smooth production operations
  • Supervise agglomeration activities, including maintenance, to ensure high-quality products
  • Carry out mandatory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws
  • Train operators on equipment and processes, including cookers, dryers, and dehydrators
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment, adhering to OSHA safety training and good manufacturing practices
  • Monitor inventories and ingredient usage, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company standards
  • Motivate the safety and continuous improvement culture while achieving operating goals
  • Develop and manage the extrusion production team
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, manufacturing) or equivalent experience
  • 2-3 years of related experience in manufacturing supervision, preferably in food manufacturing
  • Strong motivation, organization, time management, documentation, and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Proficiency with computer systems, especially Microsoft Office, and quality/process orientation
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Effective presentation and conflict resolution skills

Estimated Salary:$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
