Job Summary:

Sarasota Memorial Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cardiovascular Technologist to join our team. As a Cardiovascular Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures, including cardiovascular ultrasound, echocardiogram, and electrophysiology studies. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our cardiovascular services.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform cardiovascular procedures, including ultrasound, echocardiogram, and electrophysiology studies
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
  • Contribute to the development of our cardiovascular services
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in or a graduate of a cardiovascular technology program
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification within one year of employment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of employment
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of employment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Vocational training in an allied health profession (i.e. EMTs, CMAs or RAIs) with one year of work experience
