About the RoleAs a Clinical Instructor, you will implement the College's philosophy, curriculum, and program outcomes through clinical teaching and service to the College, community, health system, and profession.
- Plan and provide direct supervision and evaluation of nursing students delivering nursing care to individuals or groups.
- Evaluate and provide documented feedback to students on their level of performance based on course objectives.
- Develop and post written clinical assignments consistent with students' knowledge base, skill competency, and individual learning needs.
- Grade homework, quizzes, tests, lab assignments, clinical paperwork, and other written work in a timely manner.
- May teach didactic course content under the supervision of a course coordinator.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong passion for nursing and advancing your career through education.
- Experience in teaching and clinical practice in adult health nursing.
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and clinical partners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
