Role Description

As a Surgical Services Technologist, you will be integral to the surgical team, assisting in various capacities before, during, and after surgical procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing the operating room, surgical instruments, and necessary equipment.
  • Assisting nurses and surgeons in maintaining sterile environments.
  • Managing surgical tools during operations and ensuring they are readily available.
  • Cleaning and organizing the operating room post-surgery.
  • Transporting patients to and from the surgical area.

Your role is vital in promoting patient safety, providing emotional support, and contributing to overall health and wellness.

Minimum Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of recent experience in an acute surgical setting.
  • National Certification in Surgical Technology (NBSTSA).
  • Current BLS Certification.
  • Experience in trauma settings is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Prior travel experience is advantageous but not essential.
