We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Acute Care Rehabilitation Therapist to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical System.

About the Role

  • As a Rehabilitation Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality rehabilitation services to patients in an acute care setting.
  • You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes.
  • Responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing treatment plans, and evaluating patient progress.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctor of Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy (required)
    • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist in the State of Maryland (required)
    • Five years of full-time experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist, with acute care experience (required)
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
    • Proficient in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy techniques and practices (required)
    • Specialty area knowledge (preferred)
