Ascend Rehab is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a pediatric-focused SLP, you will provide therapy services to children in the Elk Grove area in a school setting. If you're not interested in a school setting, we also serve kids in various settings, such as home-based, outpatient clinics, and our inclusion preschools.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' specific needs.
  • Provide therapy sessions to improve clients' speech and language skills.
  • Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients' families and caregivers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Previous experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist preferred.
  • Knowledge of assessment tools and therapeutic techniques for speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
